About Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Maine
|
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Maine was founded in 1989 by McDonald’s® Owner/Operators in Maine with a vision of giving back to Maine’s communities by supporting the children of Maine.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine awards charitable grants - to date, more than $1.4 million - to other not-for-profit organizations in Maine who work to help families and children lead healthier and more productive lives. RONALD McDONALD HOUSES IN PORTLAND AND BANGOR ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF THE CHARITY. But, many people don’t know that RMHC’s support goes far beyond the houses. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine has awarded funding to organizations such as the Pine Tree Society, Maine Discovery Museum, Center for Grieving Children, Maine Handicapped Skiing, Easter Seals Maine, and numerous other worthy organizations. Ronald McDonald House Charities forms a personal and community bond to help those who need it most. We welcome individual and corporate donations which you can be sure will reach children and families right here in Maine.
